The leadership of the church is planning to hold a press conference to address various issues concerning the church among which is the continuous battering of the church image by various interest groups.
This was revealed in a press statement released by SVMSE Kayode Ajala, the head of the church’s publicity committee.

“In the weeks to come also, the leadership of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide will address a press conference on this and other issues affecting our great church,” Ajala wrote.

It was also disclosed in the statement that pastoral proclamations will be issued by Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa spelling out “severe sanctions on any Shepherd, Parish and Parochial Committee that allows such derogatory video productions to be shot in their parishes.”






Ajala maintained that the church frowns at negative representation of the Celestial Chruch of Christ, as the church rules and tenets forbid members from engaging in social vices. He wrote that, “we are a Bible believing church that operates under the divine direction of the Holy Spirit.
“Our rules and tenets forbid our faithfuls from smoking cigarettes, Marijuana, use of hard drugs and consumption of any type of alcoholic beverages. Bona fide members of our church must not engage in any form of immorality. Fornication, adultery, night crawling and ills like fighting and back biting are an anathema.”
