As members of the Church look forward to a united Celestial Church of Christ under one pastoral head, the solution to the problem regarding the unending pastoral tussle in the Church has been described as a task only God can solve, thus members of the Church should seek his forgiveness and request he provides the Church with an effective leader.


These were the thoughts of John Bada, the son of Reverend Alexandra Abiodun Bada in an article debunking the notion that the founder of the Church was diplomatic regarding who should succeed him as the spiritual head of the Church.


Baba mentioned that it is unjust to claim that Oshoffa should have chosen who will lead the Church when God has not instructed him to do so. 


"Papa Oshoffa cannot choose a pastor for the church on his own because he was not the owner of the church but sent with it by God. It's God the owner of the church that can give it a pastor and a leader just the way he chose him to lead the church as its pastor." Bada asserted.


He maintained that Celestians should allow God to choose who should lead the Church rather than allowing those not chosen by God to lead, thus resulting in the continuous crisis being witnessed currently.


While acknowledging that mistakes have been made in the past, Bada declared that celestians must be careful, so that the decision currently reached will not affect the Church in the future, saying, "A lot of mistakes and errors were committed in the past but the church is for the present now and for the future and the decisions we make now will adversely affect its future. We must be very careful.


"(The) Leadership of the church must always come from God because if it doesn't what you will have are ordinary people leading themselves and their stomachs as we are presently experiencing all over the place in the church now and for that, the church of our Lord Jesus Christ is disorganized and filled with greed and darkness," hence, "The solution and the way out is for us to return to God and plead for his forgiveness as a church and worshippers and asked him to sanctify us by himself and give us a leader who will pastor the church effectively well as expected of his church so that the purpose for which the church was descended to the world could be achieved."
