You may be confused about the preposition to use between "is" (ni) and "to" (si) when bowing head to God during service. This explanation by Gbenga Olaleye should clear your doubt, as he explained the reason behind the confusion and why Holy Holy Holy to the Lord is correct.

In an article, Olaleye noted that the use of both words (is and to) should not cause unnecessary disagreement, as both are right because every member of the Church knows that God is Holy, but members should follow what has been given to the Church. (Isaiah 6: 2-3).

"However, if we study the Bible Scripturally, it would be clearer that both statements are correct but the difference is more explanatory as explained by the Pastor Founder before his demise.

"The pastor Founder Saint Rev SBJ Oshoffa revealed to us in 1954 ( seven years after the church was established) concerning the appropriate words to say after the jingling of the bell thrice which was "HOLY HOLY HOLY TO THE LORD GOD OF HOST(MIMO MIMO MIMO SI OLUWA OLORUN AWON OMO OGUN)" according to section 85 of our blue book constitution, where he revealed (while on trance) the ringing of the bell thrice and the statement that followed, during his heavenly experience and worship hour," Olaleye revealed.

He however mentioned that Oshoffa later revealed in other teachings that an angel has "corrected him not to say Holy Holy Holy IS the Lord God of host but Holy Holy Holy TO the Lord God of host because he is not yet a heavenly being and has not seen God before unlike angels who know him affirmatively to be Holy."

Olaleye proceeded to advise that "this is not to say that whoever made those statements wrongly after the jingling of the bell during service on that day will be neglected or rejected by the Lord Almighty, No, still, we have to teach us the right words to use for uniformity and togetherness in unity as it was divinely given to us by the Holy Spirit through Saint SBJ Oshoffa.
