Yesterday, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa made a surprise appearance at the magnificent parish in the former French colony of Côte D'Ivoire, built by Venerable Supreme Evangelist Justin Kouame Ackah.
A fortnight ago, EMF was to visit the country, but the journey was stalled, as there were various versions regarding why he could no longer embark on the journey.
The faction loyal to EMF claimed, he could no longer embark on the journey because the Ministry of Interior in Côte D'Ivoire, advised that he should not embark on the journey due to the volatile nature of most french speaking countries in the Western Region of Africa, as a result of Coup de'tat in some of these countries.
However, the factions against EMF both in Nigeria and Côte D'Ivoire claimed that the initial reason he was not allowed to visit was more than the security situation in the sub-region.

A part of the statement signed by SVMSE Kayode Ajala for EMF's faction on the February 19 read, "The authorities of Côte D'Ivoire requested that the trip be postponed and proactively informed Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa of this development.
"The request for a postponement was made by the Côte D'Ivoire authorities because of the security situation in the sub-region. Lately, some countries in the sub-region had experienced coups. It was for this reason that the Côte D'Ivoire Ministry of Interior requested that the Pastor's trip to be postponed for a more auspicious and conducive time."
The Nigeria opposition claimed Oshoffa was made a persona non grata in the Côte D'Ivoire by the government of Côte D'Ivoire, thus he was denied a visiting visa.
Meanwhile, factions against Emmanuel Oshoffa in the French-speaking country affirmed that they initiated the move to stop Emmanuel Oshoffa from visiting their country. They claimed that EMF's trip to the country was aimed at causing trouble and division in the Church in Côte D'Ivoire. This group claimed that EMF was coming to install a factional leader in the French-speaking country.
However, in a video seen on Facebook by Akinyele Emmanue, Emmanuel Oshoffa was welcomed by the congregation at the most beautiful parish in the former French colony of Côte d'Ivoire, built by Venerable Supreme Evangelist Justin Kouame Ackah on Sunday.
