As the year 2022 wraps off, we are pleased to announce members of the Church who have made their marks in and around the Church, most especially through the use of Social Media.

The year in review has been eventful with various doses of good, bad and ugly events around the Church, as is it with other institutions too across the world.

This year, the following are our 10 Celestians of the year.

Michael Bamidele Alonge

The publisher of Celestial News Online is one individual whose footprints can never be erased from the Church's history.

The Church lost this great gem in December. Alonge who is loved and also hated by many for his fearless ways in speaking about and shaping discussion in the Church. His passing away is still unbelievable, shocking and shook the Church.

While some others act like they do not care about his death, it is certain that whether they like or hate Alonge, one thing is certain, his name will never melt like fat when placed in fire. Whatever he has achieved in the Church before his passing away will be more than what they will ever do for the Church.

Evangelist T Aluko Preaches

This Evangelist makes the list because of his prowess in delivering sermons easily for better understanding. Aluko is one of the Church's finest light when it comes to sermons on social media, whether it is in audiovisual or written forms. Surely, he is one individual helping to show the world that Celestians understand and can preach the word of God better and sincerely.

Victor Olaore Omoshehin (Celestial Reality Check)

The establishment of Celestial Reality Check (CRC) by Victor has changed how social media is used in the Church. The CRC is well known for live social media videos discussing matters of interest in the Church, mostly in support of the faction of Reverend EMF Oshoffa and ills within the Church.

While Victor may look blindly partisan in his support of EMF's faction, he is never afraid to give a knock when necessary. A perfect example is the demand that Reverend EMF should write a condolence letter as regards the death of the publisher of Celestial News Online, Alonge Michael, despite shameful defense of Ketu's actions by those who should know better.

Ayo Elijah (Shepherd's Court)

A close look at what Ayo Elijah does with Shepherd's Court shows that his targets are mostly issues bordering on interests pertaining to the youth of the Church.

Oluwatosin Elizabeth Igbagboyemi

If not the most popular female writer on Celesphere, she will definitely be placed higher in the pecking order when it comes to female writers in the Church. As we wrote in 2017, it will be difficult to fault the sincerity and doggedness in the articles which are written by this sister. The Oyo State based Celestian is known for her stance on the need for the protection and respect of female members.

Gbenga Kehinde Oyeleye

The place of this youthful clergy in this list is as a result of his doctrinal articles which serves as guide to many young members of the Church who are not properly vast about the tenets and doctrines of the Church. Recently, he released a book on the Church's doctrines titled Spiritual Teaching and Revelations on CCC doctrines.

Temitope Oluwagbọtemi Majaiyeyomi

The second female on this year's list is. Temitope. Her articles are mostly about how the doctrines, tenets and liturgy of the Church are abused and proffering solutions to them as a conservative member of the Church. She also dwell into noticeable failure in the administration of the Church and general life issues.

Amadiowei Godsglory Opudu (Celestial Discuss)

Opudu is one individual whose demand for accountability on how the Church is managed financially and administratively is never-unending. Nicknamed the White Lion, this clergy has a grit which close associates can highly depend upon as witnessed when the publisher of CNO died and during his burial.

Opudu was described as a true friend by the convener of CCCYMS, Evangelist Segun Glorious based on how he and many others helped to coordinate the burial of Alonge Michael. He said "until the cloud gets dark, true friends are not identified. I salute you Evang Amadi...  Na man you be.."

Tola Adele

Tola is a writer who writes passionately about the Church in manners which are almost faultless. His articles are majorly devoid of Church politics. He also does truthful reviews about major events in the Church.

Akinleye Emmanuel

The inclusion of Akinleye in this year's list is as a result of his commitment in ensuring that issues in the Church are properly addressed. He does this by penning down articles to give advice to the leadership of the Church.
