Those parading themselves as pastors of the church have been advised from doing so, because their actions tend to give the church a bad reputation.

This declaration was made at the World Press Conference to announce the 70th Platinum Anniversary of the church at Ijeshatedo, in Lagos.

The converner of the conference, Reverend Josiah Owodunni said the constitution doesn’t provide for two pastors shepherding the flock of Christ.



Reverend Owodunni made it known that the hierarchy of the church refused to declare him as the pastor despite the fact that the founder of the church appointed him as his successor.

He declared that those who felt disgruntled and wanted to occupy the position refused to follow the words of SBJ Oshoffa.
