Clergies of the Church in a meeting
The proceeds of the offering, tithes and other incomes from the church should be judiciously utilised for the good of the every clergy of the church, so says Leader Samuel Williams in an open letter to the pastors of the church.

In the letter, Williams highlighted lot of issues, ranging from the unregulated process of becoming shepherds, female members becoming owners of parishes, the lack of adequate welfare programmes for shepherds, facebook prophets, amongst others.

He appealed to the leadership of the church on the need to be less concerned about 'ipin', the statutory deductions that goes to the church headquarters, and focus on welfare of shepherds and their families. He additionally stated that the financial status of parishes should considered before they are asked to contribute their part of the statutory deductions to the church.

"How are our shepherds been taken care of? Is there any adequate package for a transferred shepherd? They are been transferred but welfare package is zero, wife and children are not considered during the decision making.

"Most get frustrarted to do wrong thing and go against the doctrine of the church. There are too many circuits, districts who have churches under them, how do they care for them all they want is (IPIN) without minding the financial status of such parish, when will all this thing change, we need proper planning and proper welfare package for these men and their family please let treat them rightly and let do something fast." Williams who holds the title of a leader in the church advised.
