Reverend EMF Oshoffa

Three hours after we published a post that Ketu is yet to announce whether the Annual Christmas Convocation will take place in Imeko, Ogun State, Nigeria this year, a statement was hurriedly released to that effect.

Today Celestial Church Blog reliably learnt that on Tuesday, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa in a meeting with clergies approved that the convocation will take place, but this was not communicated to members in any form.

It is important to note that while the Francophone faction in Porto-Novo released a public statement earlier in the week advising members to observe the Christmas Convocation at their parishes, those in charge of communicating to members in Ketu didn’t release a statement not until we released our publication.

The statement by Ketu reads:

“Halleluyah!

“His Eminence, Rev. E.M.F. Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual head (CCC W/W) has approved Wednesday 23rd - Friday 25th December 2020 for this year's Imeko Christmas Convocation.

“In the following days, the Convocation Working Committee, in collaboration with key stakeholders, will announce camping modalities in line with new health and safety protocols.

“Yours in Christ.

Imeko CWC.”
